摘要：Good governance matters. It matters at the level of countries, subnational regions and firms. And it matters for people’s well-being. This year’s Transition Report documents trends in governance, showing that good governance is important for economic growth, quality of life and the natural environment. It also looks at green governance and how to improve the green credentials of firms. The key message of this year’s report is that improvements in governance can create a significant payoff in terms of growth.

（无论是在国家层面、地区层面、企业层面还是个人层面来说，好的治理都非常重要。本年度的转型报告详细介绍了治理结构的发展趋势并发现好的治理结构能够很好的促进经济发展，提高生活质量，并且有利于环境保护。本报告还从企业层面研究了公司治理如何促进企业的绿色发展。总而言之，本报告的核心发现在于提高治理水平能够非常显著的促进经济增长。）

个人简介：Ralph De Haas目前工作于欧洲复兴开发银行任研究部主管，并同时兼任蒂尔堡大学金融学副教授、CEPR高级研究员、EBC研究员以及伦敦政经大学国际事务研究员高级研究员。他的主要研究方向为国际银行学、普惠金融、中小企业融资以及发展经济学。其研究成果发表于Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Review of Finance, American Economic Journal: Applied Economics等国际顶级学术期刊。
